Day Room Attendant

The Royal Garden Hotel is a five red star hotel comprising of 394 bedrooms. The hotel is located on Kensington High Street within easy walking distance to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park.

We pride ourselves in giving only the very best in customer service and quality standards. We currently have exciting career opportunities for experienced Day Room Attendants within our Housekeeping Department. Our team is key to maintaining our five star standards and contributes hugely to guest satisfaction.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who ideally bring previous housekeeping/cleaning experience in a similar establishment. You will need to have an eye for detail and be able to prioritise effectively as well as work under pressure. You will need to demonstrate good communication and customer services skills and provide a warm and friendly service to our guests.

The Day Room Attendant role is a full time position, offering a 40 hour working week during day times.  We understand the importance of work-life balance, therefore you have the choice to apply for the position that best suits your needs.

Evening House Porter

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London. In 2007 the department was recognised by the Hotel and Catering Personnel and Training Association by awarding the Executive Housekeeper 'Excellence by an Operations Line Manager'.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London. In 2007 the department was recognised by the Hotel and Catering Personnel and Training Association by awarding the Executive Housekeeper 'Excellence by an Operations Line Manager'.

As Evening House Porter you will be responsible for distributing linen to the service areas and delivering dirty linen to our linen room as well as ensuring that stock levels of cleaning supplies are maintained in the Room Attendant cupboards and service areas. You will also to respond to guest requests, such as delivering extra cots, ironing boards or extra towels to the rooms.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who enjoys working in a very busy environment. You will need to have a good level of verbal English, as you will be interacting with guests. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Valet Assistant

Valet Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London.

Role

Under the guidance of the Valet Services Manager and Housekeeping Management team, the Valet Assistant will be responsible for providing guests with a distinctive laundry service. You will be involved in all aspects of the Valet cycle from the Laundry service and pressing of our guests’ garments to the delivery of the garments to the guests’ rooms.

Job Requirements

Essential

·Recent relevant experience of pressing in similar establishment

·Strong command of English language as you will be liaising with our guests, both over the phone and in person

·Strong organisational skills as you will have to manage, prioritise and understand the importance of working to tight deadlines.

·Impeccable presentation and excellent communication skills

Desirable

·Recent relevant experience in a 4* - 5* hotel in London

·Second modern language
