Christmas at Kensington Palace

Step back in time to the Victorian era with our neighbours at Kensington Palace. Enjoy music, lantern-making workshops and more at the childhood home of Queen Victoria. A fun day out for all the family, and what's more, kids go free.

From the 26 December to the 2 January, you can experience Queen Victoria's Christmas today. Extracts from the princess and the Queen are brought to life with illuminated illustrations.

On the 29 December enjoy an interactive talk about the famous Christmas pud, discover the history of roast goose and more. Includes a drink from the Wassail bowl (mulled cider).

The highlight of the season is 'Music at the Palace', from the 27 December to the 2 January you can enjoy live music from The Prince Regent’s Band, played entirely on 19th century brass instruments, so you can enjoy and join in their performances of the Christmas carols that were popular in Victorian times.
